Top layered under the shirt
Minglewood Boutique
There’s no pin dot for the lace-trimmed, dusty-pink top layered under the evil-eye shirt. This top was bought at Minglewood, a longtime Rockford boutique known for its handmade soaps and boho-chic/fair-trade clothing. Minglewood, a downtown staple, moved out of downtown in the fall of 2022 to a building on Broadway, where hours were dialed down to Saturdays alone. The shop closed in the fall of 2024.
When we don’t regularly shop local, we risk losing the small businesses that define our city.
