A keepsake from Rathskeller Rockford, the second iteration of the German restaurant in Rockford’s North End. This business, which opened during the pandemic, closed in October 2021—just over a year after two local residents (a businessman and a chef) bought the near-century-old building and invested heavily in renovating it.
